Certified Perfect English Menu (www.engmenu.com) is an easy to use restaurant search tool designed for tourists to Japan as well as Japan's foreign residents. It provides quick and reliable access to restaurants that proudly offer English menus. These restaurants represent numerous ethic cuisines, dining styles and price points. Occasionally, restaurants on our list have “perfect” Spanish, French or Italian menus too

Our goal for establishing CPEM was to bring the extraordinary culinary experiences of Japan to everyone—not just those that can read kana and kanji.

Certified Perfect English Menu is also one piece of a broader effort to “internationalize” Japan, making it more accessible and enjoyable for foreigners living, working or traveling here.

私たちの使命はこのサイトを利用する事によって、漢字やカタカナが読めない外国人の人たちも日本食や日本のレストランをもっと楽しんでもらいたい、そんな輪を広げれるきっかけになればと願っています。

また、国際化されたと言われる今でも、外国人の目には日本国内のレストランは、英語メニューを持っているレストランは意外に少ないものです。今後の日本の国際化のためにも、「食」文化からお手伝いをしたいと思っています。
